Rather predictable result when second rankedSBS Ostrava (7-1) defeated at home 6th ranked Hradec Kralove (2-4) 71-62 on Sunday. SBS Ostrava outrebounded Hradec Kralove 48-36 including 34 on the defensive glass. Marina Ewodo fired a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Croatian forward Iva Belosevic (185-1997, college: UTRGV) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds. The former international swingman Kristyna Brabencova (183-1999, college: S.Florida) produced 8 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Hradec Kralove's coach Romana Ptackova tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. The victory was the third consecutive win for SBS Ostrava . They maintain second place with 7-1 record having just one point less than leader USK Praha. Loser Hradec Kralove keeps the sixth position with four games lost. They share it with Chomutov.
